There's just something about the west coast, be that California's coastline or Michigan's. I was born and raised in West Michigan, and while in the state we split our time between Saugatuck and Northport. As a girl, family trips up to Glen Lake helped create what has been an ongoing emotional connection to the Leelanau peninsula and all along Lake Michigan. If you've lived in or even visited the beautiful western shore regions of Michigan you can understand why they have been the focus of so many of my landscape paintings since the mid-90's.

From the Saugatuck Dunes to the Leelanau peninsula with its vineyards, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, rolling hills, and Lake Michigan vistas, there's plenty of awe inspiring subject matter. In addition to some of the Michigan paintings featured on this site, I invite you to check out the Contact page to learn more about where to find a wide range of my Michigan oil landscapes. Visit the gallery websites, or better yet, stop in and check them out in person. Enjoy!
